Helps disabled people make full use of computers and the internet, including  a range of free and paid for services for employees and employers.  On line factsheets.


Action for Blind People  (formerly Royal National Institute for Blind people).

Supports blind and partially sighted people. Employment Service offers specialist advice and information about finding work,  retaining employment, and skills development.


Action on Hearing Loss

(Formally RNID) Delivers Bucks Integrated Sensory Service (BISS) on behalf of Bucks County Council. Supports adults and children with hearing loss, sight loss and dual sensory loss. Can provide equipment, mobility training, registration and information/advice..

 

Association of Disabled Professionals

Forum for disabled people who want to enter or remain working in the professions,  management, or as entrepreneurs.


Blind Veterans

Blind Veterans (formerly known as St Dunstan’s), supports anyone who has served in the Armed Forces, or who has done National Service, and who is now living with significant sight loss


British Association for Supported Employment

For organisations working to secure sustainable employment for people with a disability or other disadvantage.


Business Disability Forum

Helps firms and organisations to become disability-smart and improve business performance by sharing expertise, giving advice, training and networking.


Disability Law Service

Specialist information and advice on range of legal matters including employment law.


Disability Rights UK

Campaign to strengthen and protect disabled people’s rights.  Resources and factsheets on wide range of subjects, including employment, skills and training for disabled people.  


Epilepsy Action

Advice and information including on education and work, for people with epilepsy.  Free downloadable booklet Work and epilepsy about looking for, and staying in work.


Evenbreak

Social enterprise dedicated to helping talented disabled candidates find jobs with inclusive employers through their specialist job board.  It offers disabled candidates a dedicated channel to apply for jobs at companies which have demonstrated a commitment to looking beyond disability when hiring candidates.


Mencap

Work and training service, Employ Me, provides pre-employment and in-work support for people with a learning disability.


National Autistic Society

Information, support and services for autistic people (including those with Asperger syndrome)  Resources include Finding work  - free interactive e-book aiming to help autistic adults with job searching and work preparation.

Aims to facilitate disabled people’s access to sustainable employment and careers
